This is a fail safe recipe that takes so little effort. Perfect with a cup of tea on the weekend!
- 1 large or 2 small ripe bananas
- 1 egg
- 75g of caster sugar
- 50g of flour
- 75g of butter
- half a tsp of baking powder
- half a tsp of bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tbsp of milk
- decent handful of choccie of your choice
First whack the oven on to 160 degrees. Then grab your bananas and mash them into a pulp.
Plonk the bananas, flour, egg, bicarb, baking powder, flour and butter into the magimix and pulse for a bit before adding the milk.
Grab the choccie and chop it up a bit. I went for a mix of Rolos and Green and Blacks...Numma.
Fold the choc into the cake batter and then tip the lot into a greased and lined bread tin. Bung the whole lot in the pre-heated oven for 45 mins.
Leave to cool and then whack the kettle on and settle down with a couple of slices. Pure indulgent heaven.
