Tozi… my local go to restaurant

Restaurants in Victoria/Pimlico are few and far between. So it was an absolute joy when I discovered Tozi. This place offers Italian tapas served by the most charming of waiters set in a relaxed vibe with an open kitchen. It must be said that it’s on the expensive side… but it’s well worth it once in a while.

We kicked off with zucchini fritti… a firm favourite. These ones weren’t at all greasy either, but crisp crunchy and perfectly delish…

And then it was time for a little asparagus, endive and quail’s egg salad with black truffle. I am truffle obsessed. My nickname is trotters so it shouldn’t come as a surprise…

At this point we took a breather before diving in for round two…. cured meats. Well it would’ve been rude not to….

My fave dish of the night was this creamy burrata with heritage tomatoes. Winner.

Although… in close second is Tozi’s homeade buffalo ricotta and black truffle ravioli.

Full but with plenty more to talk about, we ordered a couple of espresso Martinis and settled in for the long haul.
