Fancy adding a bit of the exotic to your breakfast? Look no further than this Moroccan inspired bircher muesli.
- 6 tbsp oats
- 3 tbsp natural yoghurt
- 14 tbsp of unsweetened almond milk
- 8 dates roughly chopped
- handful of pistachio nuts
- seeds from half a pomegranate
- 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
Soak your oats and chopped dates over night in the almond milk and yoghurt.
In the morning, bash the seeds from half your pomegranate and roughly chop up the pistachios. Drizzle the pomegranate molasses over the bircher muesli and then sprinkle over the nuts and seeds. The mixture of fresh pomegranate and caramel, from the dates and molasses, plus a bit of crunch from the nuts, makes this a mouthful of bircher you will want to savour.
