Numma green juice

You are going to have to trust me on this one… I couldn’t have been more sceptical about green juice, having tried ones which have made me want to gag, but this concoction honestly tastes great. Refreshing, crisp, full of goodness, and you don’t taste the vegetable components at all! As I am gearing up forΒ my trip to Sri Lanka, I am trying to be super healthy and PLI, so I am replacing breakfast with green juice.

The following will make one large amount or 2 smaller glasses, all you need:

  • half a cucumber
  • 2 sticks of celery
  • 3 cavolo nero leaves
  • 1 pear
  • 1 lemon
  • half a bulb of fennel
  • 1 kiwi
  • small handful fresh mint

You do need to own a juicer to create this, but you can browse through some here, as thereΒ are so many out there in varying price ranges. All you have to do though, is whack the ingredients through the juicer. I make mine the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight so that it’s really cold when I come to drink it in the morning.
