I am sorry I have been so absent over the last few days, but I took some time off to go skiing with my family.
We ate ALOT… cheese, snickers, tartiflette, rosti followed by more cheese and all swigged down with some delicious vin chaud.
A very happy time. But I now feel fat.
Now I am back on my home turf, and with just over a month until I need to put a bikini on for my holiday in Sri Lanka, it’s time to cut back on the cheese and get on a health kick. Starting today.
From now on, bar dinner parties and eating out, I am going to be on a diet. I will also adhere to my mother’s famous PLI (put less in) mantra and hope that by the end of March my jeans might slip on without having to shoe-horn my love handles into them.
Day 1 – my energising wake up juice:
- 1 kiwi
- half a cucumber
- 2 apples
- 2 pears
- 1 lemon
- thumb sized piece of ginger
- handful of blueberries
Whizz this through a juicer and sip with a straw to protect your teeth. The combination wakes you up and energises you for the day at work. It’s healthy but also delicious (you’ll notice no kale). Numma.
